Our History

  • 2011.08.01 Chimpanzee Sanctuary Uto has changed its name to Kumamoto Sanctuary, and has been reestablished from Sanwa Kagaku Kenkyusho Co., Ltd. now under the authority of Kyoto University.
  • 2008.04.01 Wildlife Research Center was established within Kyoto University and the Department of Health and Longevity has been moved under the authority of Wildlife Research Center, Kyoto University.
  • 2007.08.01 Kyoto University and Sanwa Kagaku Kenkyusho Co., Ltd. have established the Department of Health and Longevity.
