My research interests are in the areas of phylogenetics, histology and genomics to understand the evolution of amniotes. Currently, I am focusing on aquatic amniotes such as cetaceans and sea snakes to understand the genomic basis of aquatic adaptation, and the divergence and convergence between these independently-adapted aquatic amniotes.
