Yuta Shintaku

Program-specific Associate Professor, Wildlife Research Center

My research activities focusing on the relationships between "isolation" and "shape of animals", so I conducted morphological analyses on systematics of Japanese wild mice and on captive primates. Recently, I am also participated in research team of wild bonobos in Mbali region, the Democratic Republic of Congo.

In addition, as Curator of Japan Monkey Centre, I am working on various museum activities such as preparation and management of museum collections (biological specimens and folklore items), publication, exhibition etc.
