Giovanni Forcina

CANON Postdoctoral Fellow, Wildlife Research Center, Kyoto University

My main research interests focus on assessing the degree and distribution of genetic variability in wildlife and provide cogent management recommendations for assisting its preservation in the long term. My current research topics include the conservation genomics of the Japanese golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos japonica) and other avian species.

Keywords: conservation genomics, wildlife forensics, NGS, archival DNA, biogeography.
